All change at the IoD 859 Breakfast Club | projectfive projectfive

Written by Business IT Camberley | 16-Mar-2012 00:00:00

Chris Ragg has been running the 8:59 Breakfast at Guildford Cathedral on the last Friday of every month for over 11 years (135 times to be precise) – and March 2012 will be his last one!

Such dedication and commitment deserves to be recognised.  I know I’m not alone in admitting that Chris has provided inspiration, knowledge and wisdom that has helped me achieve more in my career.  I know I’m not alone, because I see the influence that Chris has on our fellow Surrey businesses first hand.

As you know, Chris is a people-person… and what better way to show our appreciation than to ensure that March 30th sees the largest attendance at a Breakfast event.

You are invited to book your place for this unique and final opportunity to thank Chris at the event that has clearly meant so much to him, and us, for so long.  Do not miss out!

Please, PLEASE, treat this as confidential until AFTER the 30th March.  If you attempt to talk to Chris about his ‘retirement’ from the 8:59 Club before then, he will get wind of something (as very few people know he is leaving).

If you would like to attend this landmark occasion, and help provide a fitting celebration for Chris, please contact Claire (eventbookings.south@iod.net or 02380 266548) to book your place at the Guildford Cathedral Refectory on Friday 30th March.  There is an upper limit on numbers – so book early to avoid missing out.

Thank you for your support – it will mean a lot to Chris.

PS – Apologies for the bold text in this email – something as important as this deserves to be communicated clearly, so that no-one misses out on the opportunity of thanking Chris for his many, many years of service.
