At the beginning of the summer months, we rounded up some of our finest projectfive athletes to take part in the Mundays charity run in support of The Princess Alice Hospice. Dressed in co-ordinating custom designed t-shirts, the team set off on the 5km course around Bushy Park. Amazingly, and despite a lack of training, all of the projectfive runners managed to finish the course in under 35 minutes – well done race team!
Here’s what some of the race team thought…
“It was a really good, friendly run and thank God Bushy Park is really flat! I hope that the rest of the team had as much fun looking at the back of me, as I did beating them all across the line. I especially liked the team beer afterwards!”
Michael
“Well, at least it didn’t rain…thankfully we are better at IT than PT”
Brad
“It was such a lovely location to do a charity run and it made it so much more fun being able to spot the team trotting around the course in their t-shirts with ‘run’ ‘don’t run’ error messages on the back! If I tackle any more of these races, then I will have to improve my fitness as even my trainers were bored of being on holiday for so long!”
Kerris
“I really enjoyed the race until they announced that a 70+ year old beat me by like 2 whole minutes”
