Text predictions are a great way of helping you to write more efficiently by suggesting text as you compose a message. This feature is already available in Outlook on the Web.

Microsoft have announced that Text Prediction will soon be available for Outlook for Windows.

How will this affect me?
When this update rolls out, you will see text predictions when you’re writing an email in English. When you see suggested text in Outlook for Windows, you can accept the suggested text with the tab or keep typing to ignore it.

Text predictions are on by default and you can disable them in the Mail options in Outlook for Windows.

It’s worth noting that disabling this feature in Outlook for Windows will not affect text predictions in Outlook on the web or Outlook for iOS.
