We love it when a simple yet powerful change comes along – and this is the perfect example.

Microsoft have announced that they are introducing an ink and highlighting feature in Excel, which means you’ll be able to annotate spreadsheets.

When this feature rolls out in in late April/May, you’ll see a Draw tab in the ribbon:

In addition to this, when using Excel on the web, end users will now see your marked-up spreadsheets (prior to this update, Excel on the web did not display ink contained in a spreadsheet).
